here's a tutorial on how to create a userbar using photoshop (any version) follow the instructions carefully. you can ask questions if you want it will be entertained.

Requirements :
- Photoshop (Any version)
- Creativity
- Patience.

Instructions :
1. Open your Adobe Photoshop. i will use ps cs3 extended
2. Go to File >> New. then follow the format below


3. Create a New layer. CTRL + Shift + N or Go to Layer > New
4.   Choose any colours in the colour pallete. I chose #ff5887for foreground and #ffffff for background.
5. Now Click the Gradient Tool.


6. While the gradient tool is selected, point your mouse in the upper part of the document then drag it to the bottom. so it will creates a gradient


7.   Minimize first the userbar then create a new document.
File > New follow the format below.


8. Find the Navigator then zoom it to 1600.


9. Select the pencil tool and create a dot 3 dots *use size 1* from top to bottom diagonally.



10. Now go to Edit > Define Pattern and you can choose the name you want.
11. Now Open Again the Userbar where making a while ago then Minimize the other one.
Go to Blending Options > Pattern Overlay > Select the Line we save a while ago. If you use a darker color, you might find it better to lower the opacity then, click OK.

So here it is now :


12. Now find a picture that your going to use in your Userbar. i've choose this girl as a sample

Then, Drag the picture and put them on your image.
Result :


13. Now its time to add a text, Use any font you like.
Im going to use Visitor TT2 BRK then font size 14. You can download it here

Result : i've added a black stroke on it.


14. To add a effect on your userbar, use the Ellipse Tool then, draw an ellips from top left to bottom right then move it up with arrow keys so its only showing half. be sure the color is set to WHITE




Now Lower the Opacity and This will be the result :


15. Select all the document CTRL + A then go to edit > stroke choose any color you like and make sure it is set to INSIDE .


16. Save your document CTRL + S and your done. * you can animate it if you want to make it more better*
