Chapter 3

Monday . . . every year I’m always excited for the first day of classes because in every subject there is this weird introduction where all of the students go in front of the class and introduce ourselves? and I was like “ sus , taon taon nalang “ and ofcourse I had to make the best introduction sa lahat hahaha ( yabang mode ) then I went in front of the class . . .

Giro : “ fafaaaaa = )) “
- the class goes wild and laughs there ass out –

“ uhmm my name is Mikko Harris Aensland “ ( sabi ng  mga girls dun sa kabilang tabi , “waw sosyal English” )
“ well , there are three reasons why I picked this course ? and to tell you guys the truth “
“ I’m doing great , my 3 years experience has honed lots of my skills “
“ met lots of really cool people “
“ went to different places “
“ but the main reason why I picked this course is “
“ first I want to work for the CIA “
“ 2nd I want to be rich “
“ and third . . . “

Then while speaking in front of the class , suddenly our attentions focused on something else , there were someone at the door , but I can’t see, it was far out fro the front platform . . . and then miss sanchez suddenly interrupted my speech then she introduced “ class this miss Katrina Chin a. Sotoya , and I was like wahhhh . . . the hell , we’re classmates in film theory ? well beats me , I didn’t get the chance to take a peek in her schedule anyway so , ayun we we’re classmates and then at the middle of the whole “wow-new-girl –kinda-look” in my classmates face , the words “ nice “ just spilled out my mouth , I was shocked because I thought most of the class heard what I just said . lol stupid me . but the good thing was only the front row students were able to hear what I just said . . xD lol that was pretty embarrassing , then my classmates were whispering things like “ diba siya yung kasama ni mikko last Friday ? dito sa school “ , “ siguro girlfriend nya “ , “ may lovelife pala si mikko = )) “ , “ hindi, siguro pinsan “ . . yeah I can hear random things being thrown around by my classmates around us . lol I was astonished that all that things happened in in just 30 seconds haha and in between that 30 second “our-attention-focused-to-the-new-girl” kind of look in my friends faces I just caught here eyes nalang bigla . nakatingin siya sakin … then parang ewan ? ba alam nyo yon ? yung parang nagka tinginan nalang kayo ? tapos I expected na dedeadmahen lang niya ako , she showed me a little gesture na parang minor smile kung baga ? then miss sanchez said “ okay , parang kilala ka yata ni mr. aensland , AENSLAND introduce your friend “
And ayun kumalelang ang mabangis na tono na boses ni ginang sanchez hahaha boses dragon !
Hahahahahhahaa

Then I she came in front of the class . . hiyang hiya yata hehehe . .
Then the usual “ uyyyyyyyyyyyyyy . “ kahit panis na yang expression na yan  mabenta paren sa klase kasi  kasi pati ako kinikilig din !  hahaha ( am shaking )
haha pero hindi ko pinapahalata syempre lol
“ selos si ganyan . selos si ganto . blah blah blah hehehe xD “ ( yabang mode )
Then she stood beside me
Then weird ? na mental block yata ako walang masabi eh . .
“ u-uhm this is my neighbor and friend hehe KC “
Then she said
“ hi “

Then ayun napaka awkward nung panahon na yon ? akala ko magiging kagaya ng every other year na smooth lang . pero this year parang ewan ! basta naging weird ang pakiramdam ko pagkatapos nung awkward na speech na yon hahaha lol anyway then  . then we sat beside giro and katie , hehehe then miss sanchez said aloud

“ THE RULES IN THIS CLASS IS SIMPLE , PASSING REQUIREMENTS WILL PASS YOU IN THIS SUBJECT “

“ SLANG LANGUAGE WILL NOT BE HEARD IN THIS CLASS “

Then si Katie umepal

“miss!, it’s not SLAAAAANG, its twaaang “


- then nagpigil kami ng tawa ni giro , lol pinairal nanaman ni Katie ang ugali nya hahaha “
“  OKAY MISS MARCO YOU WILL DISCUSS TO US THE AGE DEMOGRAPHIC OF GENRE IN FILM  THE NEXT MEETING “
Then she bluntly answered
“ sure thing miss , with pleasure “

Lol ayan nanaman ang ugali ni Katie its beginning to resurface again . hahaha. No wonder 30% of the girls population here in school are afraid of her , she’s like the queen bee of everything , pero nakaka tuwa siya kasi most of the time she still hangs out with us nagiging item sila ni giro minsan kasi sobrang close nila lol , pero hindi alam ng mga classmates ko na patay na patay si Katie sa classmate ko na si jillian hindi kaguwapuhan kung tingnan kung baga average lang siya sa class pero laging iniistalk ni Katie . hahaha , pero we keep it to ourselves lang anyway

Then miss sanchez announced

“ YOUR CLASS WILL BE DIVIDED INTO SEVERAL GROUPS “

“ EACH GROUP WILL SHOOT , EDIT , WRITE A MOVIE IN THE GENRE OF YOUR CHOICE “

“ GROUPINGS UHMM? LETS HAVE A LITTLE TWINGE IN THE SCHOOLS SYSTEM “

“ YOU GUYS WILL PICK YOUR OWN GROUPMATES MAXIMUM OF GROUP MEMBERS WILL BE 4 AND MINIMUM IS 3 “

“ YOUR MOVIES WILL BE SUBMITTED THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST , DISCUSSION OF THE GROUPMATES WILL BEGIN IN A MOMENT AFTER I ASK “

“ ARE WE CLEAR ? “

Then umepal nanaman si Katie

“ uhm miss pano kung walang gustong makigrupo sakin  T_T“ <- lol false humility talaga hahaha

“ then all of those who are left out will be grouped , yes I know is , this is a cruel world , welcome to my class - - - -“

“okay you guys form a circle blah blah blah . . . * lol parang elems  “

- lakas dating ni miss sanchez lol would you believe me ? 28 years old palang siya . . anyway then the groupings went like this , syempre kami ni giro magka grupo then si giro biglang hinalbot sa grupo namin si kc “ kc samin ka nalang “ ,
Kc answered “ sure hehe , “

Katie then biglang sumingit : “ sige hindi nyo ko tatanungin , okay ? “
Hinawakan ni giro ang braso then asked “ hindi noh drama mo naman “
“ lol I was just kidding , anyway ano plano natin “

Ang awkward naman !!!! hindi kami nag iimikan ni kc I think for about 30 minutes laging si Katie or either si giro ang kausap ko , the same with kc . . . then suddenly I found the courage inside of me ( lol nerd talaga ako = )) ) to say

Parang hinawakan ko balikat niya then I asked . . . .

“ KC , sorry talaga last night , I thought you were- - - “

“ no forget it wala yun “ then she smiled pero hindi siya naka tingin sakin nung sinasabi niya yong mga words nay un it felt like she was pretending to be busy sketching sa notebook niya . . .
   
Then moodswing mode . . . tsk tsk tsk . . . hayyyyyy . . .  after the class I found out na in almost all subjects pareho kami ng sched including sports ! which excemted na dapat ako kasi varsiety ako ng badminton hehe pero classmate ko si kc eh kaya papasukan ko paren ! hahaha then si kc ayun she was slowly becoming a part of our little group which is a good thing hehe

Then it hit me , weee parang back to normal na ulit why ? kasi slowly nagiging jolly na ulit si KC !
nasa canteen kami then ayun as usuall order ko isang mineral lang , tapos veggie chips hahaha nerdy talaga ako . . = ))
Veggie chips : real vegetables made to be chips , zero calories hehehe vegetarian rin ako kahit papano weird hahaha

We were eating then si katie kinakalkal yung mga pictures dun sa digicam ko nung trip namin sa lake then , she stumbled into this wacky stolen shot of kc na naka nga nga then naka turo sakin as if she was casting some weird spell dun sa kumuha sa kanya ng picture hahaha lol , it was soooo  funny . . . then i said

“ alam mo kc , yang picture na mga yan naka kalat na yan sa blog ko hehehe ”

Kc then said
“ wahh hindi nga ?? “

GIRO
” do you have any idea kung gano karaming girls ang nangragrab ng pictures nya sa blog nya ? hahaha “

Then I said “
“ hehe wala nakong magagawa I uploaded the pictures eh   sorry kung nagmukang . . . . . uhmmmm .. ano ka sa mga pictures na yon . . couldn’t help it . . . hahahahaha “

KC then said . aw parang iba na ang tono
“ alam mo ? ibang klase na rin noh? “

Then she stood up . . . then she went away . .. then Katie followed her … naoffend ko yata ? engot ko naman mag joke .. then I sarcasticly said to GIRO “ kaw pare sinakyan mo pa eh ! BALIW “ , sabi ni giro “ tae ka pala eh ! hahahaha patay kaaaaa “ 
The truth is . . hindi ko naman talaga inupload . . . ang inupload ko eh yung magagandang kuha niya na pixilated . . I mean uber pixilated hehehe

Then that afternoon . . . sabay sabay ulit kami umuwi sa car ko . . wahhh sheer silence sa loob . .tension ??? tsk . . tanga ko kasi . yan STRIKE TWO NA !!!!!! AMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF then I never realized na ang first day ng school ay magiging last day ng week 1 na makikisabay siya sa car . .. every morning when I pick her up laging “ naka alis na daw “ . . laging ganyan . . up to Friday ganyan lagi . .  then when I try to talk to her sa school parang hesitant parin talaga siya makipag usap sakin , nawala yata yung pagka jolly niya . .  araw araw nalang laging ganyan . . . nahihiya naman akong tanungin kong ano yun , we barely even speak to each other . . . hayyy . . . laging sagot niya is “ ahh okay , sure “ laging bitin siya sumagot . . T_T wahhh ano ba yan , and hindi rin masyadong nag rereply sa mga txt ko unless may tatanongin ako something academic wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I’m blowing my brains off !!!!!! then out of boredom . . I managed to post a blog sa porschebeeatch ko about sa weird na lingo ko .. . ( BLOG POST LOCATED ABOVE ) then she also posted hers ?? ( BLOG POST LOCATED ABOVE ) wahhh ano yan ??? she writes when she’s pissed  . ano ba yan ?  then to distract myself went to PLDT to get myself a phone ID hahaha lol . .just to avoid the mischaps that happened last weel 
Then I couldn’t get a grip of myself . . I tried to the impossible . . I called her cellphone !!! . . . it was ringing . . but . . to my horror . . . ni rereject niya tawag ko . . then she turned her cell off !?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!? the hell !?!?!?!?!?!? was that . .. wahhhhhh … 1 week ko na hindi naasikaso yung movie namin at iba naming subjects ka iisip sa kanya . hindi ako mapakale ! during band rehearsals giro would always ask me kung ano ba nangyayari sakin , parang na popossess daw ako ng isang weirdong pepe na kaluluwa . . . “ , I just ay “ dude I’m fine okay ? “ , “ okay pare , sabi mo eh “ . . 1 week na ganyan . . . . amfffffffffff wahhhhhhhhhh ano ba nangyayari … 

Out of sheer worrying tinawagan ko na si Katie . . . I asked her “ ano ba nangyayari kay KC “ , she answered “ duh , mas malapit place niya sa inyo tanongin mo kaya “ ,

“ may alam ko nohh ? “

“ yah bakit ? “

“ duhhh , ask giro paturo ka sa kanya ng tips kung pano makipag usap ng tama sa girls , ukey ? may webcam session pa ako bye ! “

“ wenks ,  alam niyo pala . .. h-hindi nyo sina - - - - “  “okay mikko BYE !” SLAMS THE PHONE

Lakas talaga ng tama ni Katie . wahhh . .. damn .. I’m just muster the courage nalang ulit and approach her GYM class next week . . . xD

So to sum it all up … the first week of school was pure stress, depression , etc . . . damn . . hate this feeling . . tsk !!!! .

June 9 , Monday     

All subjects were pretty the same . . . the only difference is hindi kami nag iimikan ni KC . . . . then GYM Class . . before we go inside our school GYM . pina ikot muna lahat kami ng 5 times sa field warm up . . . ayun lahat kami nag takbuhan . . pabilisan kami ni giro as usual then pag tingin ko sa likod I saw kc just sitting dun sa bleachers , tamlay niya , then it hit me again . . I missed the jolly girl from next door.. . so much . .

I didn’t finish those 5 laps half nung una I went straight to KC

Tapos nawarming up nila  they all went inside sa GYM To begin badminton class then as I sat beside her , hindi siya umiimik mga 5 minutes kaming magkatabi na tahimik lang then she suddenly stood up . . . then . . she said

“ may class pako “

“ wait . . . “

She didn’t answer , she was just walking away . . .

then I grabbed her arm

“ let go of me “ she said

“ hey KC , . . uhmm . “

“ I said let go of me “
Then bigla siyang humarap then she asked

“ what !? , ano ba gusto mo ?! “

“ ano ba , bakit ka ba nagkakaganyan ?!?!?!? “
“ am sorry for the accidentally raising my voice on you okay ? “
" so pleaaaseeeee stop acting that way ! "

“ oh my god , hindi naman ako ganon kababaw para magkaganito ? “
“ ganyan ba kababa ang tingin mo sakin ha ?
“ then after all of this , wala na kalat na kinalat mo na !! " “

“ s-sorry . . about that I can explain , I’m s-sorry “

Then her tears started pouring out , I just stood there frozen … pure guilt . . hindi ko masabi . .
Hindi ko alam kung pano , . . . .  . . . . . grabe . . . ang saket ng ganto I cant believe
Na naka pag paiyak ako ng isang babae , sobra sakit . . I want to explain everything pero . . .
It felt like it was too late she was already crying  . . .

“YOUR SORRY CANT DO ANYTHING , ENROLLED NAKO DITOH “
“SOON MY LAME PICTURES WILL SPREAD , OO SAYO WALA YON SANAY KA NA EH !? “
“WELL SORRY HA, it WAS A BIG MISTAKE MOVING HERE ! “
“you know what ? I liked you !? ,"

" I LIKEEDDD YOU ! "
"but i guess the person that I met a week ago was a much different person after all huh “
“I’M SO SORRY IF I WAS A BIG HINDRANCE IN YOUR GLAMOROUS LIFE “


then she started walking away




then my world suddenly stopped. . . I don’t know if its because she was crying or its  because she said she liked me or the guilt , wahh so many things going on my head  suddenly i just  snapped . .
I just . .

I just . . .




I just hugged her , 



and then I felt like crying too , I just said

“ from the first moment I bumped into to you , you were the only person that struck me  . .there maybe a million girls out there but  you’re the only girl in a million that I’ve looked differently at “

then  my tears was starting to fall ,

“ I don’t want to lose you . . . “

“ I’m really really sorry about the pictures that I took . . . I’m really really sorry , there wasn- - - -“



Then she broke away from my arms . .



She was still crying . .

then she just said

“ well you should have thought before . . . nvm . . as I said my klase pako . . .”

She ran straight to the girls room … then Katie saw her . . Katie then followed her . . .



What have I done . . . .
