Each of the stories in the series involves several unrelated plots intersecting and crossing each other as events spiral farther and farther out of control. Immortals, alchemists, mafia operated speakeasies, and many other elements of pulp fiction straight from the movies are mashed together to draw the viewer into a disturbing conspiracy that will hurl them into realms of fantasy, reality, and perhaps something even stranger...

Firo Prochainezo

An executive member of the Camorra, a Mafia-like crime syndicate in New York City. Has a rather laidback attitude, but is more than capable of killing when the occasion calls for it. His story is one of many followed in Baccano.



Ladd Russo

A Mafia assassin of the Russo family who's love of killing spurs him into the paths of the other characters on the Flying Pussyfoot (a train that serves an an important setting). Not immortal.



Jacuzzi Splot

The timid, gullible leader of a gang of thieves. Has a price on his head for killing someone in the Mafia he shouldn't have, though his personality masks whatever killing intent there may be within him.



Nina Holystone

Terrorist and explosive expert who accompanies Jacuzzi and his gang. Cares deeply for him, watching over like a protective older sister would.



Szilard Quates

An alchemist who seeks limitless immortality, though he is close to 400 years old himself. The elixer he creates and the ramifications as it becomes entangled with the paths of others is the drive behind all of Baccano's many intertwining plotlines.



Dallas Genoard

The son of a powerful Mafia family within New York, and the source of the unrest within the Cosa Nostra infrastructure after he mysteriously disappears in early 1930. Everybody wants him dead, but nobody knows exactly where to find him either.




Eve Genoard

Dallas's younger sister. A shy-type girl that she wanted to see his brother so much.



Isaac and Miria

These guys are funny jokers. Enuf said.

Baccano! had an unique characters, and storyline. It's fun to watch and I like their descent fights. Very underrated but must watch this! Enjoy!
