okay for those who want to learn making sig the easiest way, here i'll show u..
i dunno if its easy for u or not. but for me, its kinda easy..

i make this sig using adobe photoshop cs3. im not sure if the previous version can produce the same result.
but just try it ok!

ok 1st step, create a new document (by pressing ctrl+n)

width = 400px, height = 120px
then click OK


save this image on your hardisk

u can find more at deviantart.com (customization->wallpaper->abstract)

then goto file->place..

find the image u saved before, & click place

u'll have sumting that look like this

resize(make it bigger) that image(by holding shift) till it look like this

there u go. a nice bg for ur sig!

next, we will place a render on it.
it will be any render that u like
for this, we'll use this..

save it in ur hardisk

i got this render from planetrenders.net

create a new layer (press ctrl+shift+n, & click OK.).
n then go to file->place..
find the render u saved jz now, & click place

it will look like this


now resize the render till it look like this,


create a new layer again. (easiest way, jz click this)


& then go to image->apply image


make sure the setting same as above, click OK

then go to filter->sharpen->sharpen


next we will place text on it.
click the type tool, & click on the sig


type as above..or u can just type anything u like. hehe
wana make it look more cool? just type anything, but with smaller text size below it


after that, create a new layer again.
then, right click on the sig & click stroke

follow the setting below

click ok

u'll have a nice border around ur sig.


for the last touch, we'll add lighting effect

create a new layer again.
then click on the brush tool

choose soft brush, size 300px, & white colour


position it like the image below

& just click once

& u r finish!

if u want, u can put ur name at the lower-right of the sig. like this


thats it!
i hope this tut can improve ur gfx skill. especially for d nwbie.
