Can we have a new section in our forum?
Archive Forum Section
All old topics which are important before will be move there.
Topics like old announcements, old sticked topics, etc will be move there.
Like the topics from contest and events section, we will treasure all of those topics.
For the mean time, I moved those topics in Backstage.

^ I agree! because if sticked topics or important solved topics are moved in Recycle Bin it's kinda hard to find it.
Easy Reference in post if this was granted. ![]()
Well, in my opinion it's better just to close those kind of topics and let it stay on their original section. Because most people will browse the appropriate forum section before searching somewhere else if they're looking for something.
With an archive section, different topics will be mixed up together so its difficult if you want browse/find a topic, just like in recycle bin.

it's optional for other topics like answered questions, etc.
im talking about the topics which are old contest topics, old announcement topics.
like in markyctrigger, check our archived section there:
> Forum Archive
> Friendster Contest Archive
and archive section can only be access or moderate by moderators or admin only.

Yes I know what you meant, but still I think for now it is not a good option for our forum. Archive section probably would become the next recycle bin on the long run, it's not too efficient in my opinion. For all those kind of topic that might still needed for future reference, just close and let them 'drown' on their original forum section.
Sorry eehjhay, it's not that I don't appreciate your suggestion but we couldn't meet to an agreement this time.

Well,is good!
