i looked at him straight in the eye then I was speechless for about 10 seconds . . I said while smiling “ thank you “  while smiling

“ wala pala eh uweh uweh uweh may pasok ka pa bukas tayo pala ! hahaha “

“ uhm may assignment ka diba sa calculus ? “

As usuall , magkakasabay kaming 4 pag pasok . hehehe XD talk about school service hahaha
Hmm … lalong masaya kasi naman wala daw mga teachers namen . . . so ayun tumambay nalang ako sa field and sketched so many things from trees to the buildings . . blah blah blah hehehe XD . . . then napansin ko mikko and giro were missing ? and so as Katie ? lol . yeah naalala ko wala nga palang mga teachers okay . . . pero weird kasi hindi nag paparamdam ang kahit sino eh , nag woworry tuloy ako . . hehehe . . when suddenly . bigla nalang may tumakip ng mata ko

Ibang accent ? parang Austrian na hindi ko maintindihan kung English ba or something ? HMPF !

Then it occurred to me , ang lelang na giro pala . . .

So basically ayun . we teased each other for about 40 mins . . . then when it was about to struck at 12 midnight . .
He said

Then ayun up to 3 AM we were chattin and chattin , and chattin
First greeting of the day , pero it still weird , not that excited . . ako ? . bakit . tsk .. si giro naman yun ? . . . kilig na kilig pa naman ako tuwing makakasama ko kahit sino sa kanilang 2 , lalo na pag si giro . . pero ngayon na ganito si giro ? parang wala lang . . .


MY BIRTHDAY !!! hehehe
* 6 AM - - I woke up . . usuall morning routine . . the only thing that changed this morning was , giro was right outside our doorstep , then hinatid pa ako sa car ni mikko . . . mikko , very silent buong morning . this was also the first time na nakatabi ko si giro sa likod ng car ni mikko , then nagkukulitan kami then since mahaba naman yung ride , nakatulog nalang ako sa balikat ni giro . . then arriving at school , mikko just parked the car and poofed out . nawala nalang ? si giro hinatid pako sa mga classes ko . . . and the great thing was , si Katie binati ako  . “ happy birthday here . happy birthday there , it was so overwhelming . .  people that I didn’t know greeted me . . even si miss sanchez . . . pero no sign of mikko anywhere . ? nililigawan nako ni giro , pero hinahanap ko parin si mikko , concerned lang naman  , nawala nalang basta eh  tapos hindi magpaparamdam . . then at lunch time . giro nagpaalam na makikipag kita daw kay mikko ? for something important daw ? sa mall . . . then I said “ sure sure hehehe ano kaba ? duh . . hehe kaya ko naman sarili ko BLEH !!!! hehehe“

“ okay , keychi ! hahaha “

“ HMPF !! nako parang pangalan ng tamagotchi , tsk ! hehehe ! “

- then giro went out the cafeteria . . . Katie tagged along with me . and apparently , one of the biggest items daw ako sa school ? . . ang dami ng nakakrecognize sakin , since I first got here . kasi maliban kay april at mga officials ng councils / orgs na girls , ako lang daw yung girl na pinaka naka close ni mikko . ang dami daw nakakapansin na ako lang daw yung girl na kinakausap niya ng matino , . . – Katie told me . . .

“ huh ? “

“ uhhh yeahh . . ikaw lang yung girl , well myself included .  na kinakausap ni mikko ng matino ? . I mean he really exerts effort when talking to you ? can you feel that ? hehehe XD “

“ uhh no not really but . . . . . *sigh”

“ you may not , not know this . but . . gusto ko na mikko . . from the start ? I know its pretty weird na 2 months palang kayo magka kilala and all , pero nung 2 months na time na yon , his attitude towards many things , changed. Pansin ko kasi kilala ko siya matagal na ^^ . . I dunno about you pero , - - -  *PHONE RINGS “

- then katie’s phone rings , then she walks away , and ayun nawala na rin siya , sabi niya may aasikasuhin daw, siya ? una na daw ako sa klase  . . . . . . .


Then the day was pretty weird , all my friends were gone . ? pero still , I appreciate the fact na ang daming bumabati sakin dito sa school . it was almost 19:00 , when I was walking out to the parking lot , I realized andito pa si mikko . . kasi andito pa yung car niya , so I waited dun sa benches . . when someone from behind spooked me . .

Si Katie , ang luka na si Katie ginulat ako . . . then . she told me , may ipapakita daw siya sakin ?
Syempre ako naman si tanga sumunod naman ako  . . hahaha . .

Then Katie dragged me sa loob ng theater ? may orientation daw ang guhitero-guhitera ( an art group here sa xms ) then we sat , dun sa part na malapit sa stage ? nakakatakot kasi super dilim , as in pitch black darkness . . . kilabot mode nga eh . . then si Katie sabi punta lang daw backstage mabilis lang ? HUH !? . . ano ba . to . . then iniwan niya akong mag isa dito sa . chair . . sa malapit sa stage ??? CRAP ! . . nakakatakot naman . .

MIKKO’S POV .

I just thought of helping her out with her calculus assignment . pero since giro did it already , my helps not needed na  . . hehe . somehow it felt like . ouch ? but ewan bestfriend ko si giro . pero bakit ganto , ? lol , lapit na prelims , need to study . . 8-x , damn , mikko your being a nerd again !! hahaha . .  then while I was walking away  , parang gusto kong humarap ba sa likod ? or wag nalang kasi baka hindi ako pansinin or something , reaching our doorstep  . I waved goodbye . and went inside  . . took a shower. Washed away the pain . . *LOL EMO !!! hahahaha  . . pag na dedepress ako , pinapapak ko lang ang nutella dito sa bahay or kimshe . crap that would be an additional 5 laps bukas ng umaga . . T_T . pero depressed ako eh . .  wah ! it was almost 12:00 . . hmm ala lang gusto ko lang bumati ng sakto . . kay kc ? so I tried calling her sa bahay nila .  . . to my horror . . busy ?? . . . I wanted to call her phone ? pero meaning kung busy landline nila ng ganitong time , si kc may kausap pa sa phone . I looked out the window , saw her room . . bukas pa yung lampshade niya . . . . nahh I’m just gonna greet her tomorrow nalang . crap

Anyhow , it felt depressing , you guys know what I mean ? depressing !!!!  lol . . . so again tabingi nanaman ang oras ng tulog ko, cant even sleep , kept thinking its kc’s birthday tomorrow ? damn ano kaya gift ko sa kanya . . . crap ! hindi nalang ako papasok - - bibili nalang akong gift , pasama ako kay giro 8-X , lol kahit may selos parin ako , ayos lang na si giro kasama ko , ayos din mag critic ang luko eh . . anyway that was my night . . .


- - one last look , try to check kung tulog na si kc . . * and I look out the window again . . nahhh . . gising pa rin . eh . . . . lol



4:00 AM I woke up . . so early damn ! hahaha it was pretty cool , so dahil sa mga kinain ko , I needed to add up a couple of more laps . damn talaga . . pero it felt good . warm up , warm up . . as I came home . I got a text message from giro .

“ dude , gonna pickup kc jan sa kanila mga 5:30 agahan natin pasok pare “

- . . . oh okay? So close they are closer than I expected okay okay , so giro arrived at my place at 5:20 . then he said he wanted to pickup kc from her place ? and I said , oh okay , ano pare sabay ka pa rin bas akin pag pasok ? , he said “ uu naman daanan ko lang si kc sa kanila noh hehehe XD “ . and I said “ yeah yeah geh dude , I’m gonna wait for you here in front of the gate bro “

Then he went by kc’s place …

He picked her up . . they were so happy together . . *sigh . . . I coudn;t do anything but put up a fake expression . . selos ? OO SELOS AKO . . it should’ve been me . . but he’s my bestfriend , damn  . . am I missing something here ? I told myself . . . then while driving its also the first time giro and kc sat in the backseat . and they were sweet  . T_T  . to my horror . . damn . !!!! . . pero need to focus , am driving

Kc fell asleep sa shoulders ni giro ? nung pag tingin ko dun sa salamin . .

. . . then giro asked me

“ dude , ayos ka lang ? “ . . lol HINDI PARE , P*********

Then we arrived at school  . . . what the hell happened kanina ? they were CLOSER than I THOUGHT ! CRAP !!! sakit naman nito . ! aahah  so yep , this were the things that were dangling inside my head , yep I’m a guy so as much as possible , I don’t let my emotions resurface . hahaha  , syempre naka smile parin – peace – hahahaha  . so I felt really depressed the whole morning . needed to refresh meh feelings . . hahaha  so I isolated myself from the crowd for a while , went to the 4th floor balcony of the library and listened to *cough *cough , Michael buble music . .ehem ehem . . then while in my usuall senti mode . .

I was sitting there in the balcony up against the wall  . . . listening to music , I skipped my first two subjects . . . usually when I skip subjects , I’m with giro , but since he’s enjoying kc’s birthday with her . . okay okay . . *sighhh . . ..

Now playing : “ always on my mind : Michael buble “ damn that piano INTRO !!!!! . . T_T . . nice since wala masyadong tao . sige ayos lang na mag senti dito sa labas . . . naiiyak nako . . . nag flash back yung first time na nakita ko si KC ????? . . crap . . talaga . damn , from the first time I bumped into her  to the times that I was taking pictures of her sketching , then suddenly , nag flash back yung time na natamaan ko siya nung PE namen . . . crap , the guilty .


* tears were starting to fall . .


. . . then suddenly I heard footsteps . . . crap MIKKO UMAYOS KA !!  . . .


Kim ( may bitbit na books )  the writer from the school press , campus item rin she’s chinita , I know her . . but I don’t talk to her a lot , since hindi ako ganon ka social sa mga hindi ko friends (supladomode) . . .  I call her kimmy when I need something from her like a calculater or something . . ( gawd mikko evil evil evil ) ,

Kim:  : “ kuya mikko ayos ka lang “
Me:  “  . . . “ I pretended na hindi ko siya napansin , kunwari I was looking a far and couldn’t hear her . . kasi naka headphones ako
Kim: : “ hellOoOoO ? “ waves her hand in my face . .
Now I reacted . . pissed effect mode
Me:  “ whoaaat ?? “
Kim: : “ wala lang , nakita ko lang kasi parang sad ka eh . sige sorry “
Me:  “ hahaha lol , joke lang , tsk galit na siya “

* she was about to walk away . . . tsk . madadagdan nanaman mga taong asar sakin . .no I will not let this be !! I stood up and grabbed her hand

Kim: : “ DUH ! . . . since lumipat lang dito si kc , siya lang kaya ang girl na kinakausap mo ng matino and kumalat kaya kagad yung incident na hinug mo daw siya sa bleachers . . so believe it or not  yeah halata “

Kim: ” hmm wag kang pessimistic , malay mo close lang talaga silang dalawa “
Me:  : “ sana nga . . T_T damn . . bakit bako ganitong nahuhulog sa kanya . .“
Kim:  “ kasi siguro , you felt soMe: thing from the first tiMe:  you Me: t her ? lol love at first sight . . haha “
Me:  : “ lol , love at first sight , never believed that , siguro CRUSH at first sight OO ! hahahhaa “

Then she stood up  , and walked away . . lol I grabbed her again for the 2nd tiMe:

Then I let go of her ,   then I asked her

Me:  “ favor naman , samahan mo naman ako PuhLeazeeeeee (please) “  then I showed her my awa-pumayag-ka-na face

Me:  “ uhhhhhh  sige na . . . libre pa kita “
Kim:  “ maya nalang pag break ko okay ? that’s 11 o clock  ? then 4 na ulit class ko ,”

Then I got her phone number , then she went to her class , lol nalate siya dahil sakin . . . damn , I’m such a jerk to those girls , hindi ko ineexpect na ganon pala si kim , lumalapit lang ako sa kanya dati , kung manghihiram ng things , etc . then pag binabati na niya ako or mga barkada niya dati . . I don’t really show a happy gesture , worse . I ignore them . . damn . .pero ayos na kasi ngayon friends na kami ni kim weeeee . . . ( lol life changing ba sem na to ? ) haha

Lol ngayon 3 subjects na skinip ko . . . lolololol , slacker mode ! hahaha . .

It was 11 o clock , I texted giro , I told him to meet me outside . . as well as kimmy texted her too . . so ayun una dumating si kim then nakita ko si giro , dumating . sobra makasmile ang tae ah abot hangang tenga . . lol

then nung pag lapit niya sakin

Then suddenly my tears bursted out bigla . . I looked down . . then Kim:  tapped my back … and I just told her

Me:  “ ibibili ko nalang siya ng stuffed toy , the biggest I could ever find . and that’s it “
Kim:  “ . . hmm ok “
Me:  “ samahan mo ko . .ayus lang  ?  “
Kim:  “ uhmm duh . hehehe sige , san tayo “
Me:  “ bear cuddler or blue magic ?
Kim:  “ kaw bahala , tulungan nalang kita mag pick “
Me:  “ sige canvas tayo hehehe “

Then we went down sa blue magic first then I saw this big big dog stuffed toy that looked like Beethoven , kim liked it and so did I . . love at first sight kung baga hahaha . . and I saw the tag price , and a whOoOoPing 15k ? damn . . hahaha . pero ayos lang , credit card nalang . . sige ayos lang . . and kim told me “ mikko are you flip , 15k ? hehehe XD “

Me “ ayos lang hehehe  , “

Yes I bought the bear . . . and then we went down to yellow cab . . and meet up with giro and Katie they bought a cake na ipipickup nalang daw mamaya black forest na malaki. . damn , giro , couldn’t stop talking about how happy he is about the whole courting thing ? damn . . . then giro came up with the idea na isursurprize daw namin siya blah blah blah . . and yeah umuo nalang ako bsta . .

We went sa school . . later the day , we arrived mga 18:30 .  sa school , the 3 of us ( ako , giro , kim humiwalay kay Katie )





It was a split second decision  giro pushed me into playing and singin , bleeding love for kc .  then he would sing , so yeah , I made up my mind , I decided to play anyway . . I was sitting in a stool in the front stage sa loob ng theater . it was so dark .

i sang bleeding love by leona lewis , added up some few intros with it . . . T_T
^ I played and sang an acoustic version of bleeding love . I sang in the most serious way I could think of .  .i sang  kc’ favorite song . . then the whole stage lit up and then we were there . . sa stage .. then we all sang a happy birthday song . and then kc was so happy . . she blew the candles . .

. .. so ayun . she was happy . . I told kim na siya nalang mag abot kay kc nung bear haven’t greeted her yet , I left a letter nalang . .

. . . so yeah heartbreaking talaga tong gabi na to .  I went out the of the theater  nag party sila lahat sa loob , kasama ang xms street . . . I was really heartbroken . . . . I sat down outside . . I was looking sa moon . when suddenly kc sat beside me .  . .

“ hey mikko . . . “

“  kc . hi hehe “

“ so , you’ve heard about giro - - “

“ yep , “

“ hehehe . . and nag sesenti ka dito sa labas ? mag isa “

“ hehe, ayun sila oh nag paparty , join them “

“ pinapaalis mo na ko ? “

“ hindi naman . . hehehe . . “

“ thanks for the stuffed toy nga pala  , I named it chino-kun/san/sama  hehehe “

“ . . “ I just smiled .

“ . . thanks again , I owe you a lot you know that ? “

“ hehe , you should go inside ayun si giro oh hinahanap ka yata and oh yeah I forgot something . . . . happy birthday . kc  “

“  . . . thanks . . “

I then hugged her s . . and then I whispered . . “ you deserve to be happy . . . “

I just walked away and waved goodbye as always. . .
Then I went home . . hinatid mo muna si kim sa kanila , nakakahiya naman kay kim  . hehe I texted giro nalang to take Katie and kc home nalang dala naman niya sasakyan niya eh nung nagpunta kami sa mall kanina  so that wouldn’t be an issue . . so yeah that was my heartbreaking day . . .
I went home like 23:00 then while I was lying down sa kama ko

I received a text message . .

“ dude , nahatid ko na si kc at Katie . “

I replied

“ ahh , K “

Then he texted me again

“ dude , may tatanong ako sayo . . ? “

“ ano naman ? bukas nalang inaantok nako   “
