Daine said as she took a look at Joshua's notes.

"Yeah! More or less.... uhmmm....could we...take a break for awhile...it's getting aq bit tiring..." Josh said.

"Sure!! Uhmmm... thanks for volunteering huh?....uhmmmm....my dog died huh???" Daine teased.

"Hey! That was the best excuse I could make to save your but there!!" Josh teased.

"Hmmm...I still won't forget that KICHIGAI!!!" Daine teased as she pinched him and ran away. SHe stuck her toungue out.

"Oh now it's on!!" Josh teased as he ran after her. SHe shrieked.

"Josh stop!!!" she kept on shouting as he tickled her. She just couldn't stop laughing.

"You asked for it!" he teased as he grinned. He stopped. He could sense someone else's presence.

"Uhmmmmm.....Mom! I...uhhhh......" Josh said nervously.

"Hi Tita!! How are you??Uhmmm.... Josh was helping me out in geometry class and.... anyway...where's Bryan???" Daine said defensively.

"Daine! I'm absolutely fine! I was about to ask you the sqame question. HAve you fully recovered from that incident???" Josh's mom asked.

"What incident???...." Daine asked. Josh looked with her mouth wide open.

"Oh! I...uhmmmm.....sorry there...anyway...Bryan's still at school. He's having soccer practice. BUt I bet he'll be back in a few minutes." she said.

"Oh! Well....I better get going Tita! Mom's practically gonna kill me if a get home a bit later than this...most especially Kuya!!! Bye Tita!! See yah at school Josh!!" Daine said. They watched as she left of with their faces full of wonder. The same thought in their heads.

"How could she have recognized if she hasn't seen yet???"

"DAINE!!!"

She could still here the faint cries of her brother as she ran so far away. She didn't want to see nor talk t him ever again. How could he have done this?? Her own brother??? She didn't know where she was about to go. All she knew was that she wanted to run...as far away as possible.  She could still recall everything....

"Kuya! Tell me the truth!! Who am I???" she asked.

"None of your bussiness Daine! You already know who you are" he said. He was drunk...didn't even care what he was saying.

"Kuya please!!" she begged.

"Stop it!!!" he shouted as he pushed her hard. She hit her head on the floor. Everything began to make sense...the accident....Bryan....shattered glass on the floor....JOSH!!....

"Kuya???But....I...." she said. Tears began flowing from her eyes. She ran away....

"Daine!!!" he shouted. He grabed her wrist.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" she shouted as she pulled her wrist.

SHe got tired of running. She sat just beside the nearest tree she could fine. She felt hopeless....

"Why is the world so harsh???"

Josh thought as he walked under the rain. Rain fell in the middle of tennis practice so it had been cancelled. He's been out of focus these days....his mind containing ideas of how to make Daine remember. Just then he heard sobs from somewhere. That was then that he saw her....an answered prayer perhaps???? He approaches her and puts his hand on her shoulder.

Daine was too busy crying to even think about whoever was standing next to her.

"Daine? Daijoobo desu ka( are you fine)?" he asked. She hugged him tight.

"No! Watashi wa byooki desu!!! I'm sick of evrything Josh! I'm sick of being this way!! I don't want too lose you JOsh! I never wanted to! I guess destiny never wanted us to be together. Gomenasai...sorry." she said as she alked away. He held her wrist.

" No Daine! It's not destiny! I asked for a sign! And it came true!" he said.

" Signs never come true Josh!" she said.

" They do Daine! That's not the point! THe point is that I love you. That's all that matters to me!" he said.

"Kuya won't let me Josh! What choice do I have?" she asked.

"You have your own decisions Daine! Think about it!" he said as he went ahead. She ran after him and kissed his lips. She ran away afterwards.
