READ THIS FIRST: Starting a Contest Guide *section cleaned*
1. Only one contest is allowed to run at one time. If currently there is a contest running, please wait until it finish before starting another one.
2. Any non-'newbie' member is allowed to start a contest, with permission and agreement from the local moderators.
3. Make sure you have at least the following info for your contest.
- Promoter: the one who start and responsible for the contest
- Eligibility: who's allowed to become a contestant
- Winner: who's the judge, how to decide the winner(s)
- Prize: the prize for the winner
- Rules: contest rules and guides
- Participation: how to participate
- Period: the registration and contest period of time
4. The contest should be divided into 2 parts/threads: contestants registration, and the contest itself after the registration ends.

This guidelines might change anytime so please always check this thread before you start a contest.

It depends on the "promoter". judges may be us (through poll method) or he will ask someone to judge (maybe a mod).. and the prices are up to the promoter again. he'll decide what he'll give

i think if the contest is about the friendster profiles, maybe there will be a sections for CSS and for OVERLAYS.. [what do you think?]
