Everyone loves him. He's funny, witty, good-looking and charming. He's everything a girl wants for a boy. When he speaks, it's like humor and sense combined. Mapapaupo ka talaga and mapapakinig sa kanya. Hindi rin naman daw siya playboy. He's not like that. And he goes to school sa harap ng school namin. That's Rhys. Rhys Romualdez.

I'm his total opposite. I'm not a stunner. I'm shy. I don't like talking to people much. If my friends are out there partying on a Saturday night, I'm on my four-corner room studying my lessons or just blogging. I'm really weird..and geeky. And worse is, I'm not good at talking to the opposite sex.

It really annoys me. I don't know how to act around a guy, I just wanna stay quiet. Maybe because all my life, I studied at an all-girl school. And wala ring nanliligaw sakin. Kahit ako wala rin namang planong magkaboyfriend kung hindi lang naman si Rhys. And that's a dream that will never materialize for me.

So Rhys, can I fall for you?

Hahaha. I know the name sounds funny, XD Got it from my cousin. He's crush's name's Rhys.

A/N: Thanks for the comments and replies my darlings. I'm indeed inspired.

CHAPTER 001

It was raining hard and I was standing at the waiting shed sa harap ng school gate namin. And as usual, nagbabasa na naman ako ng libro or some kind of loooong novels na ayaw na ayaw basahin ng iba dahil "nakakatamad" raw.

So yeah, I'm weird and...geeky.

Nabigla ako ng marinig kong nasa harap ng waiting shed namin si Rhys at ang grupo niya.

"Girl, andun si Rhys o. He's sooo gwapo." A 4th year student whispered kaya naman napatingin ako sandali sa tinuro niyang direksyon.

And there they are. Rhys was like may hinihintay sa kabilang shed at parang may hinahanap siya sa waiting shed namin. Prolly, some gorgeous girls from our school. It couldn't be me. Yeah, dream on Yana.

Oh, before I start blabbing about my life, I'm Juliana Antonio, fondly called Yana. I'm a 4th year student studying at Lourdes College (an exlcusive school for girls) and I AM NOT A LESBIAN OR A TOMBOY. Get it?

Then suddenly, napatayo ako ng straight when Rhys and company crossed the street papunta sa waiting shed namin. Everyone started giggling and I'm sure, each of them, rather us, is wishing na sana "ako ang lalapitan ni Rhys". T_T Funny, pero ganyan kalakas ang tama namin sa kanya. As what I've said, he's everything a girl wants for a boy.. and you wouldn't ask for more.

How I wanted to stay and observe him at a closer look, pero dumating na ang sundo ko and I had to go. Bigla naman akong kinilabit ni Vincent sa gilid.

"Yana.. andiyan ka pala. Di ka man lang namamansin." He smiled..and everyone looked at me.

Yung mga babae sa school na nasa gate at ang mga kaibigan niya including Rhys. Bigla naman akong nataranta.

"Ah, sorry. Di kita nakita eh. Sige, una na ako." Sabi ko at ngumiti. Pumasok na kaagad ako sa kotse and I had my last glance on Rhys for that day. He was smirking.

Nung gabi na, since wala namang HWs and quizzes, and since nakapagreview na ako sandali in case na may pop quizzes, I logged on my YM.

Pero okay lang, he's still cute. And I still like him.

Kinabukasan, syempre, inspired na inspired akong pumasok. Ikaw ba naman i-IM ng crush mo? Di ka pa ba matutuwa?

"Ba't parang ang saya mo ngayon?" tanong sakin ng bestfriend kong si Bea.

"Wala lang." I said and smiled again. Ayoko na munang sabihin sa kanya na inIM ako ni Rhys, baka ano pa ang mabuo sa isip niyan, eh IM lang naman yun, diba?

Then nung hapon na, sabay na kaming lumabas ni Bea. I was surprised to see Rhys sa waiting shed sa harap ng school namin na mag-isa. Come on, mag-isa siya. Ang daming girls na lumalapit sa kanya pero di naman siya namamansin. So naisip namen, baka inaantay niya si Gabby.

(FYI, Gabrielle "Gabby" Altuna is the prettiest and flirtiest girl in the campus. Pero kahit ganun siya, overall, she's nice naman and actually, we're friends. Di lang ganun kaclose pero "friends" kami.)

Dumating naman kaagad yung sundo ni Bea kaya naiwan akong mag-isa doon. And lumabas na finally si Gabby. She smiled at Rhys pero dinedma lang siya. So.. if not Gabby, who?

And then my phone rang.

"Dad?... yeahh... opo... sige po... train?... and then?...okay bus... sige... sige po... thanks...bye.." I closed my phone and tried to figure out myself kung pano makakaabot sa train station since hindi ako susunduin.

When I decided to cross the street, someone called up to me.

"Hey!"

Napatingin naman ako kasi baka ako yung tinatawag. Rhys?

"Me?" I pointed myself and looked around kasi baka di ako.

"Yeah, you." He smiled and went up to me.

Okay, kinikilig na naman ako. Pero dapat play-hard-to-get ang drama.

"Why?"

"Sabay na ako sa iyo."

Chapter 02

"Sasabay na ako sa iyo." Huh? Pakiulit nga. Anong sasabay ang pinagsasabi nito?

"Pardon?"

"Sasabay ako sa iyo." He smirked again and went on his way.

Nagkibit-balikat narin ako at naglakad sa likod niya. Teka, ano nga ulit yun? Train.. then, bus.. then.. iono. San ako sasakay ng bus? San ako bababa?

"So.. do you watch Heroes?" He suddenly asked kaya muntik na akong mapatalon.

"Huh? Heroes? As in yung sina Wonderwoman and the likes?" Dang. I sound stupid. He just smiled.

"So.. kung hindi ka nanonood ng Heroes, Gossip Girl? Errr..."

"Hindi din. Sorry." Sabi ko at bumalik sa pag-iisip kung san sasakay at bababa.

Gaaa. Kasalanan ko bang buong buhay ako, sinusundo ako at hinahatid? Gaaa. Kung alam ko lang naman na pagdadaanan ko ito, edi sana noon palang minemorize ko na ang mga pasikot-sikot dito sa lugar na to. Gaaa. Hmp. Nakakainis naman o.

"Alam mo ba talaga kung san ka pupunta?" He asked again na parang nacoconfuse na rin siya saken.

"Yeah." Sabi ko at pumasok sa train station. Sumunod din naman siya kaya napatingin ulit ako sa kanya. "Teka, taga san ka ba?" Helloooo, alam mo kaya kung taga-san siya -- Mandaluyong. And dang, parang North and South kayong dalawa.

"Mandaluyong."

I know. Pero teka, sasabay ka pa saken?

"And.. you're going with me?" Napataas ang kilay ko.

"Not really. I don't think you can go home safely kasi." He smiled. "So, I'm giving you the honor to come along with me." He smiled again.

"Yeah right. Kaya kong umuwing mag-isa." I said and went away. Okay, I like him a lot, pero I don't want naman him to think that I'm stupid na di kayang umuwing mag-isa. Amf.

"I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean to." He said and still followed me.

Sumakay ako ng train and he still followed me. What the hell does he want from me?! Pinabayaan ko lang siya hanggang sa bumaba kami ako dun sa 'ewan', hindi ko alam ang name.

So, ayun. Tumayo pa ako dun sandali trying to figure out kung anong bus ang sasakyan ko para makarating sa bahay. Dang. Ba't ang dami ng bus at jeep dito?

"San ka sa Quezon?"

Tumahimik lang ako.

Bigla naman niyang kinuha ang cellphone niya at may pinindot-pindot doon.

"Yeah. Puntahan mo nalang ako dito. Hassle na eh." Then he closed his phone. Ngumiti lang kaagad siya saken.

Aalis na siya? Ang sama naman. Tsk.

Then mga 10 minutes pa siguro akong nakatayo dun. Naman.. san ako sasakay?

Biglang may car na huminto sa harap namin and I know kung kanino iyon. Marahil kay Rhys. Uuwi na ang Prince Charming ko at tuluyan na akong magiging 'damsel in distress' ditong mag-isa. Hmp.

Nang bumukas ang pinto, lumabas si Vincent. Yeah. Si Vincent Yap na kababata ko na katropa ni Rhys.

"V-Vincent?" I muttered.

"Pumasok ka na sa loob. Papahatid na kita." sabi niya.

Ako ba Vince?

Tiningnan ko lang sila at nagkibit-balikat lang si Rhys. Napabuntong-hininga ako.

"Thanks Vince, but no. Sasakay ako ng bus katulad ng sinabi ni Daddy."

"Aabutin ka ng 48 years kung sasakay ka ng bus." Sabi ni Rhys.

Teka, ang alam ko, crush ko si Rhys. Si Vince naman, kababata ko. Hmm.. anong pakialam nila sa buhay ko?

"Hindi ako sasakay. Pano ako matututo kung di ko susubukan ngayon?"

Vince frowned.

"Ganito nalang, sasabayan nalang kita sa bus." Sabi ni Vince.

"Ayoko-"

"Ako na Vince. Umuwi ka nalang. Ako nalang ang sasabay sa kanya pauwi." Sabi kaagad ni Rhys.

Pumara bigla si Vince ng bus at pinapasok ako ni Rhys. Hindi pa sana ako sasakay, pero minura na kami ng driver at bigla naman akong tinulak ni Rhys at ayun napasakay kaming dalawa. Napatingin naman samin yung ibang mga babae na nakakakilala sa kanya. Naman... wag nio nga akong tingnan.

I sat down at di na muna umurong. Di naman siya siguro uupo sa tabi ko diba?

"Umurong ka dun."
