Chapter 15 - An Everlasting Rest

Melvin's Point Of View - Flashback

It was a night full of stars when I saw a girl sleeping on the bench. Lumapit ako. I'm expecting na siya si Jam. But no, it's tyna. I wonder why she's here. And yeah, I denied her request. I still have a company, si Jam. I was shocked when she suddenly held my arm. I mean, first time lang yun, first time sa isang babaeng hindi ko naman ganoon ka-close. My heart suddenly beat fast. I got nervous. I even perspired. I think she noticed me and removed her hands. My heart kept on beating, but I forced her to held it again. And she did. She got irritated at my iPOD's earphones. I placed the earphone in her ears. I avoided looking at her sparkling marble-like eyes. But i can't help it, i had an eye-to-eye contact with her when I put the earphone. I walked away, i felt relieved.

I looked at my cellphone. Jam text's is melvin, catch me My heart supposed to beat faster, but.. argh. I'm wrong again. It didn't beat. I didn't feel the worry or smoewhat like that. We entered the room. I saw my bro & jam, embracing at each other. I held tyna's hands tight. Full of Anger. But something caught my attention. WTF. Jam is crying . My bro promised me na di niya papaiyakin si Jam. Pero now?! ai naman! My plan is to punched marvin.. but tyna held me I shouted at her, "shut up, wala ka na dito.."

After a minute, I calmed down. realized what I just did to her. gaah. I treated her as my bestfriend. nu ba yan I even heard her cry nung tumalikod siya sakin at yun, pumunta siya nung math park. Ewan ko ba, anyhow, my heart ached when I heard her cry. It hurts. gaaaah. I went to the Comfort Room para ayusin yung buhok ko. Though hindi ko pa masyadong kilala si tyna, i know na, love niya ang music. She's engaged to Music. hehe. I went to the Math Park. My Plan is to sing at her and apologize. But.. urgh.. she's nowhere to be found I suddenly saw a girl walking towards me. I know siya yun. Malakas kutob ko.

My heart, gaah, ayun nanaman yung sakit. I just felt those warm teardrops streaming down my face. I can't stop it. I can't. damn. I looked at the landscape. tama. harana. harana. I'm Really Nervous. ewan ko ba, maski na sintonado ako, go pa rin ako. go go go Until yun, nagkaharap kami. I apologized for what had happened. And yeah, hinatid ko na siya pauwi. but before that, ewan ko ba sakanya, ayaw pa niya umuwi eh. I showed her my special Place.

yeah. totoo naman yun, I love her. She's my friend. I mean, my bestfriend. Yeah. I love her. I love her. gaaah. bat ba umuulit tong mga words na to sa utak ko?! darn it. Please no. Ayoko na magmahal. nasaktan na ako ng todo. ayaw ko na. I'm tired. I need a rest. A rest. An Everlasting rest.

She came closer to me.. and hugged me. I hugged her back. Friendly hug lang to. tsk. kayo talaga oh.

"oo na pogi. tsk. kaw pa.."
"anong ako?"
"matitiis ba kita? " she pinched my nose. urgh.
"di naman ako nakikipag-biro "
"oops. sorry."
"let's go tyna.. pagod na ako .. wag mo naman akong pagtripan-" she held my hand
"hindi naman eh " i pulled her hand and started walking...
"stop playing around.. maging seryoso ka naman, kahit once lang.. kasi..
