Sorry for the looooong update guys. I've been so busy lately. Hoep it's OK wif you guys.

CHAPTER 21:

"Anna! Gising na! Nauna pa ako sayo sa paggising eh!"

"Huh??? Anong oras na ba?"

"4:30 na kaya! Nasa baba na si Raf!"

"Ano?!! Sige, babangon na ako!"

Ugh, 4:30 na pala?
Eehh... Antok pa ako... Gising Anna, Gising!

"Anna! Bilisan mo na!"

"Oo na ate!"

Geez...

"I'm coming na ate!"

"Well, good. Here's your breakfast. Eat up."

"OK. --- Wheres Raf? I thought you said he was here already?"

"Yeah, he is. He's outside waiting for you."

"Ahh, OK."

[10 minutes later]

"Oh, you better get going. You'll miss your flight."

"O-OK... "

"Wait, bakit ka umiiyak? I thought you were happy..."

"Eh, ate, ma-mimiss kita eh. "

"Hay naku, Anna, there's no reason to cry. We can chat naman everyday eh."

"Pero, kahit na. Ma-mimiss kita. Ang dami mong ginawa para sakin, tapos, iiwan lang pala kita."

"Sus, OK lang yun. Ganun talaga pag magkapatid. Lalo na at mas matanda pa ako sayo, I really need to take care of you, kahit na ayaw ko... "

"Ate! "

"Yan, tumatawa na siya. Sige, mauna ka na. Ma-lalate talaga kayo. "

"OK ate. Bye!"

"Bye Anna!"

[at the airport]

This is it.
Papunta na kaming US.
I'm sure na magiging masaya kami dun. Pero, I can't help but think that I'm missing something. Something? Or someone? Ewan. Pero, I really feel na may kulang. 

"Anna!"

"Oh, Raf. "

"Bat ka nakatulala?"

"Nothing. Let's go na. "

Yet here we are.
Nasa loob ng airplane.
It's too late to change my mind.

"Please fasten your seatbelts. We'll be flying in a couple of minutes."

As I heard the stewardess say those words, I thought to myself, Can I do this?

Without knowing, the plane was already flying. Ate Lydia was at the back. Me and Raf were in front of her. I leaned on Raf and thought of sleeping to get my mind off of everything.

Then, in a while... Zzzzzzz Zzzzzz

[ a few hours later]

"Anna..."

"Hmm?"

"Anna, wake up. We're here already."

"What?"

"We landed already."

"We have?"

"Yup. Get up and get your bags. "

"OK. "

Paglabas ko sa plane, I saw things that I wouldn't usually see in the Philippines. People there were different. I know, of course, because they weren't Filipinos. But, almost everything about them was different. I felt a little OP that time. But when I saw some Filipinos passing by, smiling at me, I felt at ease.

"Anna, are you OK?"

"Yup. I am."

"I know how you feel. Out of place in a world you haven't been to."

I couldn't find the words to say. He said everything out of my mouth.

"But remember, we're here for a reason, so if you get a little lonely, I'll always be here for you. "

After saying those words, Raf went closer and then...



Well, it was a looooooong one, so I was blushing 'coz a lot of people were staring at me. Both Filipinos and Americans.

"Oy... Kung magkikiss kayo, doon na lang sana sa bahay, wag sa harap ng maraming tao... "

"Sorry, Ate Lydia. Si Raf kasi eh!"

"Anong ako?!! Eh ikaw tong gusto eh!"

"Oh, she she, wag na kayong mag-away. Umuwi na lang tayo..."

"Haha... OK Ate."

Tumawag ng taxi si Ate Lydia... Then, di ko namalayan, nasa bahay na kami.

"Anna, dito na tayo titira..."

I was lost for words... Nandito na talaga kami.

Nobody but me, Raf and Ate Lydia.
