hmmnm about this topic.. for me the animation of slamdunk is totally cool comparing to the animation of dear boys but you see if slamdunk has rukawa dear boys has aikawa hehehehe the same hair style the same move and partly the sam name but different spelling only in pronouncing.. but for me if tis two team will compete i guess the shohoku will win idk i just feel thatthey will win even though sakuragi is there hahahahaha but for me if aikawa challenge one on one each of the player of shohoku i think aikawa will win to the best 5 of shohoku if it is one on one game... hahahahaha for me this two anime is the best among the sports anime i ever watch.

I prefer Slam Dunk. The ball was really drawn and you can feel the presence of pure drawn Anime. While Dear Boys was a combination of 3D and drawn Anime that's kinda a turn off. Anyway Dear Boys has a good Animation in some points but it could never compare the feeling if you're watching Slam Dunk.
