Tutorial: Simple Techy Border

Im just also a newbie and teh tutorial here in ftalk really helps me a lot!..
i just wanna share this to everyone..

this is teh result!:

lets start

first step:
make a new document.. (any size,, i used 400x150) and u can put some color to it.. its optional according to ur design..

second step:
make a new layer and using lasso tool or pen tool.. make your desire design for teh border

the result:

third step:

fourth step:

then EDIT > Fill (choose any color u desire..)

the result:

fifth step:

Adding Styles:

thats it!.. hehe

wow. techy border tuts. i hope i will get it btw. dont forget to use the SHIFT when you're using the pen tool or any other tools for making a straight line nice tuts again nina chan

oh good. i just learned how to make tech border too.
nice tutorial nina. XD

anyway. i want to give some tips. use Polygonal Lasso Tool when measuring teh border style, and hold Shift so the border will be moar "techy". and after give teh blending options. you can delete some parts on teh border too. (adding circle/square).

I use Polygonal Lasso Tool, invert the selected shape, add blending.
