Tutorial - creating warped texts (twisted, wave, arc, etc.)

This tutorial is all about transforming a simple text to various warped texts.

• From this ordinary text...

to a new look. (I just added a drop shadow to enhance its appearance and make it alot more realistic.)

Requirements:

Adobe Photoshop (I'm using CS2)

Tutorial starts here.

First, this is the warped text icon:

Where is it located: Click the Text tool. Below the menu bar is the formatting toolbar. In there lies the warped text icon, it is beside the Font Color.

When we click it, of course we must select on what text will we apply the warped text technique.

This pop-up will appear:

Choices of warped texts are seen when clicked the little arrow beside the word None. So, there it is! Choose among the warped texts to transform the ordinary text.

Shell Lower

Shell Upper

Flag

Wave

Fish

Rise

Fisheye

Inflate

Squeeze

Twist
