but 20? is it kinda easy to have 20 referral counts esp to those who have computer shops or who uses computers at a computer shop

hmm.. can we mods can be promoters too? i mean at our ranks? hehe

Should I increase it? maybe to 50 or something more?

By the way moderator rank is not affected by referral count.

Yup, you got the point Aries, if it's too easy there will be too many 'Promoter', so it is not an exclusive member group anymore. I hope you understand cip6192.

The requirement has been updated with Referral Post Count as a new parameter. At least 20 Referral Count and 1000 Referral Post Count are needed. Which means that the members that registered from your Referral URL need to be active in forum (have certain amount of post) in order for you to become a Promoter. It won't give any effect if you have > 20 referrals but they do not make any post.

and i'm using my own little way of promoting/referral. hehe. 

ohh.. this is nice, but I know someone, actually he's a "He". Asking a member to make a new account using "his" referral url..  That was quite funny. It doesn't make sense..  because it doesnt prove anything.. lol..
